    CONFIDENTIAL

Maha and Izo land the same blow on each other in Onigashima's basement, at the exact same instant — a Shigan finger-thrust meeting a pistol shot, two techniques crossing and leaving both men fatally wounded. Izo's file, already written elsewhere in this registry, closes with certainty: buried at Ringo's cemetery, his pistols laid beside him. Maha's carries no equivalent certainty at all.

A masked CP0 agent identified by his round-eyed pale mask and the long two-handed cane he fights with, he lands the blow that ends the life of a former Whitebeard commander — a feat few named opponents in this registry can claim — and yet, unlike his target, no source confirms his own death. The fight ends for two men at once; one vanishes from the story without a trace, the other gets a documented burial.

That asymmetry is the whole of his file: the World Government buries its heroes with care and loses track of its own agents the moment they stop being useful to a scene. No Cross Guild rating touches his name either, which, for a man whose very fate stays unconfirmed, amounts to rating one absence against another entirely.

What Maha leaves behind, then, is neither a victory nor a defeat in the sense this registry usually counts them, but an exact question mark, dated to the same instant as the certainty granted to the man he had just killed.
