Izou’s Bounty at 510 million Berries

Izou was already a crack shot as a child, and it started as a street act. Heir to the Hanayanagi dance school, he lost everything when his father was arrested, and he and his younger sister Kikunojo got by on the streets of Ringo entertaining unsavoury adults, with precision shooting as part of the show. Some forty years ago Kozuki Oden fed the two of them, and they followed him until he made them his retainers.

It was Oden, not Whitebeard, who took Izou out of Wano. Thirty years ago, when Oden chained himself to the Moby Dick to force his way onto the crew, Izou grabbed hold of Oden to drag him home and ended up hauled aboard by Marco. He stayed, even after Oden left for a year with Gol D. Roger and then went back to Wano, where he would be executed. By then Vista had talked him out of the sword: a samurai clinging to a blade he cannot protect his lord with is no use to anyone. Izou switched to pistols and ended up commanding the sixteenth division.

His bounty comes from his Vivre Card, and no scene dates it, so nothing says it already stood there at Marineford. It puts him within touching distance of Ace at 550,000,000, and makes him the only one of Oden's retainers with a known bounty. His death closed it.

Thirty years after leaving, he came back with Marco to avenge Oden. In the burning castle of Onigashima he pulled Usopp, Kikunojo and Kin'emon out of a pack of Beasts Pirates. Then two CP0 agents showed up, ready to ignore a former Whitebeard commander: their quarry was the Straw Hats. Izou would not let them through. He shot Maha down in the same instant Maha drove a Shigan into him, and his last words told his sister to survive. He lies in the cemetery at Ringo, his pistols with him.
