Kozuki Oden’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Oden's own journal is, as far as anyone knows, the only firsthand account of the Roger Pirates' last voyage to Laugh Tale. Not a secondhand retelling — a logbook kept by a man standing on the deck. Roger asked Whitebeard to lend him a twenty-year division commander for that final year, and he had a reason: Oden descended from the Kozuki clan and could read poneglyphs, exactly the skill the crew needed to make sense of what it found. Whitebeard agreed. That is how a future daimyo of Wano ended up recording, page by page, the crossing that made Roger the sole owner of the world's whole secret.

No figure for this bounty has ever reached the reader. Oda has never shown one, even though the rest of the file — two decades commanding a division inside the world's strongest pirate crew, then a return to Kuri to rule it as daimyo — would stand comparison with any named commander in the crew's ranks.

What happened next is better documented than the missing number. Back in Wano, Oden exposed the Kurozumi family's treachery, married Toki, exiled his most loyal retainers to keep them safe, then surrendered to Orochi. One bargain, struck to spare Kuri, forced him to dance naked outside the palace every week. Another, struck to save his nine vassals, sent him into boiling oil for a full hour on the promise of their release. He survived the hour. Orochi broke the deal anyway. Twenty years later, it is those same vassals who come back to settle the account.
