Shiki’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Twenty-nine years before Grand Line ever heard of Luffy, Shiki the Golden Lion threw an entire fleet at Gol D. Roger's during the Battle of Edd War — not to kill him, but to talk him into an alliance built around an ancient weapon Shiki claimed he alone understood. Roger refused. A storm settled the argument for him, sinking half of Shiki's armada before another shot needed firing.

Three years later, Roger is executed. Shiki, enraged, attacks Marine Headquarters; Sengoku and Garp bring him down in a fight that levels half of Marineford. He is shipped to Impel Down — where he becomes the first prisoner in the prison's history to escape alive, by cutting off his own sea-prism-cuffed legs and replacing them with his own swords as prosthetics. The Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, which makes any lifeless object fly, apparently extends to his own severed limbs as readily as it once did to his fleet.

There's a real irony in how the two rivals' stories diverge from there: Roger, who refused the alliance, becomes the era's defining legend anyway, executed in public as the Pirate King, while Shiki, who forced the confrontation in the first place, outlives him and simply vanishes from the record after his escape. The bounty behind all of this has never been shown on the page, and there is a second, quieter gap worth flagging: Oda himself settled a long-running fan argument in an SBS, confirming Shiki and his backstory as canon while explicitly excluding the film where he reappears as an adult — a distinction the register obviously can't track, but one worth knowing before digging further into him.
