Shiryu’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Shiryu is the only man in Blackbeard's crew whose worst years were spent in uniform. As Head Jailer of Impel Down under Warden Magellan, he was reckoned Magellan's equal in strength and the more dangerous of the two, since the warden's bowels regularly took him out of service. Emporio Ivankov maintains that while both men held the prison together it could not be breached, and that Luffy would never have reached the depths he did had Shiryu still been on duty. All of it without a Devil Fruit of any kind.

What ruined him was not a betrayal but an appetite: he butchered prisoners for his own pleasure, often enough that Magellan finally arrested him rather than risk the practice becoming public. Sentenced to death, he went down to Level 6, the floor where the Government buries what it will not publish — his crimes had been committed in its service, inside its walls, and it was the institution itself that covered them. The switch, when it came, was unambiguous. Magellan released him to help repel Blackbeard; the moment his sword was handed back he cut down the jailers sent to fetch him, wiped out the monitor room and severed every line running out of the prison so that his old superior would not come down after him. He then brought the crew the antidote to Magellan's poison and accepted the offer he had first turned down, saying he had been waiting for a man of that stature and that the alternative was the gallows.
