Monkey D Dragon’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Monkey D. Dragon is the most wanted criminal in the world. That is not a poster slogan, it is what the story says of him and what the Marines know of him. No bill carrying an actual figure, on the other hand, has ever been placed in front of the reader: Oda has not shown the number, at least not yet.

Most of the names priced here belong to pirates. Dragon goes after the thing that issues the posters: the World Government and its Marines, as a regime, and he built an entire army to bring them down.

He started on the other side of it. A Marine cadet thirty-eight years ago, shipped to God Valley for a supposed training exercise, he worked out that he was rounding up civilians for the World Nobles' hunt. He put a tranquilliser dart into the noble about to shoot a boy named Bartholomew Kuma, ran with the newborn twins of a dying woman — one of them was Shanks — and returned to Marineford to be thrown in a cell. Garp got him out; Dragon told him he was finished with the Marines.

At thirty he led the Freedom Fighters, a militia too poor to do much beyond stage protests, which was still enough to put him in the newspapers and make him a wanted man. Baltigo, the base of the years that followed, was destroyed by the Blackbeard Pirates, and the Revolutionary Army regrouped in the Kamabakka Kingdom on Momoiro Island.

He never raised Luffy; he handed the boy to Garp. The one scene that puts them together is Loguetown, under a scaffold where Buggy already had the blade up, when lightning took the platform apart. Sabo, his second, is worth 602,000,000.
