Shinobu's power is aging whatever she touches. The Juku Juku no Mi speeds up ripening — or rot — in matter: fabric, fruit, or, once, an entire human body. In chapter 1023, she pushes Momonosuke from age eight to twenty-eight in a matter of moments, so he can finally fight at Onigashima in an adult form. Like Raizo, she has never even heard the term Devil Fruit and simply calls her own power a ninja technique.

A kunoichi trained by Kin'emon and a former agent of the Oniwabanshu, the Kozuki shogunate's secret police, she becomes daimyo of Kuri after the war — but her central role during the arc stays deliberately unglamorous: close protection for Momonosuke, logistics for the Alliance, no individual showcase battle to match the other eight Red Scabbards.

That discretion is exactly what defines her. She ages other people into the history books without ever trying to write her own name in the same way. The effect is not permanent, either — Momonosuke reverts to a child once her fruit's power wears off, which strictly caps the fighting window she can buy him at Onigashima. Younger than most of the other eight Red Scabbards, she belongs to the generation that learned the trade under Kin'emon rather than directly under Oden.

She shows up on no wanted poster either, for the same reason none of her eight companions do: a shogunate's secret service that, by definition, never appeared on any outside diplomatic map could not produce a file for anyone to circulate.
