Masira’s WANTED poster with a reward of 23 million Berries.

At Jaya, the Saruyama Alliance gathers roughly a dozen destitute crews under Mont Blanc Cricket, who took in the brothers Masira and Shoujou as his adopted sons. Masira commands his own band, the Masira Pirates, and runs the Alliance's most hands-on branch: wreck salvage, divers and grappling hooks included, working hulls that have sometimes rested on the seafloor for decades — an unofficial title even calls him the Salvage King. As children, Masira and Shoujou had both devoured the same storybook about the navigator Noland whom Cricket spends his life trying to vindicate; that shared admiration, not any deal of mutual interest, is what brought them into his alliance.
The first encounter with the Straw Hats turns into an incident: Masira lands uninvited on the deck of the Going Merry after a giant ship collapses, and the crew immediately chases him off. The misunderstanding is repaired later, when the Alliance chooses to help the ship survive the Knock Up Stream, the vertical current meant to launch it toward Skypiea — as much an apology as a technical favor.
Twenty-three million berries for a man with simian features, an orange diving suit, and a gruff temper that hides an unshakable loyalty to his adopted brother and a heart softer than it looks. No trace of him after the timeskip — the file simply stops the moment the Going Merry leaves Jaya, leaving Masira to his wrecks.
