Mont Blanc Cricket’s WANTED poster with a reward of 25 million Berries.

The phenomenon Mont Blanc Cricket describes on Jaya is the same one Gol D. Roger's crew borrowed, without the two of them ever meeting: a gas pocket under the sea, a spark, an explosion that launches an entire ship skyward — the Knock Up Stream, the only known route to a sky island. Oden's own journal confirms it decades later: the mechanism Cricket explains to the Straw Hats before their own ascent is the very one that had already carried Roger up to Skypiea.
A descendant of Mont Blanc Noland, the explorer executed for supposedly lying about a golden city that turned out to be real, Cricket fled his family name to become a pirate — and ended up leading, in practice, the Saruyama Alliance, an informal coalition on Jaya combining his own crew with the Masira and Shoujou Pirates. His whole career reduces to that one posthumous correction: proving, a century later, that his ancestor told the truth — a vindication he pursues without ever asking a single berry for himself.
His bounty, 25 million berries, doesn't reward any martial feat on record — no known scene shows Cricket fighting the Marines directly. It logs a position instead: the man who knows where the door to the sky sits, and chose to point it out to strangers rather than keep it for himself. A treasure hunter who never tried to claim the one treasure he actually ended up finding.
