Rockstar’s Bounty at 94 million Berries

Rockstar's 94,000,000 owe nothing to the Red Hair Pirates. He already had them when he signed on: two years before the timeskip he came over from an entirely different crew, where he had made a name of his own, and that older career is what the figure pays for. Among Shanks' men he now counts as one of the heavy hitters.

It is also, for the moment, the only bounty in this crew a reader gets to see. Beckman, Lucky Roux and Yasopp all carry one, and the manga simply has not put the numbers on a page yet. Nothing rules out that it will. They will not be small either: at the Marine briefing on the four Emperors, headquarters credits the crew with an unusually high average bounty.

What his own covers is a sword and nothing else. His style is called Splitting Sword, a vertical cut meant to open an opponent in two, which he can also drive through a target like a drill. Not one member of the Red Hair Pirates has ever eaten a Devil Fruit, something the databooks flag as peculiar to them, since the three other Emperor crews field several apiece.

His real function, though, is talk rather than combat. Shanks sends him aboard the Moby Dick to hand Whitebeard a letter, years before Marineford. The Emperor tears it up unread, insulted that Shanks did not come himself, and assumes out loud that it concerned Ace and Blackbeard. Rockstar wants to fight over the slight; Shanks tells him to let it go. Much later at Elbaph, he is the one sent again, this time to tell Eustass Kid to hand over the Road Poneglyph rubbing or take the war.
