Franky’s Bounty at 94 million Berries

The increase is modest — fifty million — for what can fairly be called the most strategic act of the whole Dressrosa affair.

In the island's underground port, Doflamingo ran a factory producing SMILE, the artificial Devil Fruits with which Kaido equipped his army. It was one of the targets of the alliance struck with Law on Punk Hazard: without it the Beasts Pirates stop receiving what they need to make Gifters, and an Emperor loses the recruitment mechanism his mass strength depends on. Franky led the assault. First he had to get through Señor Pink, in a fight where both men took thirty blows each without bothering to dodge; then he opened the doors to the Tontatta dwarves enslaved inside and left them the pleasure of tearing the place apart.

A pattern is becoming visible in Franky's record. Both of his first two bounties land after the destruction of something a great power was counting on: the blueprints of an ancient weapon, hunted by the World Government for decades, and a production line that supplied an Emperor's army. The factory was one of Dressrosa's best-kept secrets, and nothing suggests the World Government knew it existed. Franky fights, and fights well; but what his record shows above all is a knack for finding the exact point at which a structure gives way.

Señor Pink deserves better than a mention, incidentally. Posted at 58 million, he wore his dead son's bonnet and pacifier because it was the only thing that still made his wife smile after a landslide left her unable to respond to anything else; she died, and he never took them off. Franky knocked him out, wiped away his own tears and asked to hear about Russian someday. Both men walked away from it with respect for each other.
