Diamante’s Bounty at 99 million Berries

For ten years Diamante ran the Corrida Colosseum as its owner, adored by the crowd under the title Hero of the Colosseum, announced by name at every tournament — with ninety-nine million berries on his head and nobody coming to collect. That was not Marine negligence. A Warlord's bounty is frozen, and the freeze covers his declared subordinates; Doflamingo had held the seat for ten years, which is to say ever since he took Dressrosa.

So the sum is not paying for anything recent. Diamante joined Doflamingo at fourteen, on the North Blue islet of Downs, thirty-one years ago, and never left a crew with a habit of levelling entire towns on a whim. He holds the Diamond seat, commands his own subdivision — Lao G, Señor Pink, Machvise, Dellinger — and he relayed to Bellamy the order to assassinate Luffy.

What he did during those ten years on Dressrosa carried no published price at all. He ran Scarlett down and shot her with a flintlock while she was out buying food for her daughter, then laughed about it in front of Rebecca, and later Viola. The Thunder Soldier, who had shielded them from him, had a wanted poster with no figure and no dead-or-alive line, presumably printed on Doflamingo's authority: a king issuing bounties on his own opponents.

The soldier was Kyros. The Hira Hira no Mi served Diamante to the very end — an iron cape made pliable, ground rippling like cloth, paper turned into spiked balls raining down on Kyros, Rebecca and Robin, a bullet put through the leg of the only man still standing. Kyros broke the Hangetsu Glaive anyway and cut him down. Diamante fell and struck his head on the post marking Scarlett's grave, and the Marines cuffed him in Seastone once his captain's title, and the freeze with it, was gone.
