Vito’s Bounty at 95 million Berries

Before Vito shoots anyone, he talks. Aboard Big Mom's ship he is the one explaining to Sanji that a tea party invitation is not something you decline, then leaning in to whisper what the Emperor will do to someone Sanji loves if he tries. Sanji goes white. The same man later hands him a photograph of his bride to soften the blow.

The 95,000,000 do not date from Totto Land. The Fire Tank Pirates were a West Blue mafia, one of the Five Families of the West, and they beat four of the others before ever going to sea; then they crossed Paradise taking down famous pirate captains while deliberately leaving their crews standing. That is where the notoriety comes from — a family trade practised with a revolver, not a wedding ceremony.

The day before that ceremony, Bobbin is chasing Sanji through the streets, because Sanji had just kicked him into a wall for helping himself to the bento meant for Luffy. Vito lies in wait and shoots him down without a word of warning. Nobody ordered it: he explains himself to Bege afterwards, saying Germa 66 have been his idols all his life. Sanji was the groom the whole plan depended on, so the move served his crew as well, but that is not the reason he gives. And the manga never shows a body. Vito's own report is the only evidence Bobbin died at all.

Hours later he is holding one of the three KX Launchers aimed at Big Mom, and her scream detonates the rockets in mid-air. Bobbin is priced at 105,500,000. Vito is worth ten million less, and Vito is the one who pulled the trigger.
