Vito decides, on his own, without a word from Capone Bege, to look out for Sanji.

An advisor to the Fire Tank Pirates — not a commander, not a designated enforcer, a support strategist nicknamed Monster Gun for his aim with a pistol — he fights alongside Bege's crew during their temporary alliance with the Straw Hats at Whole Cake Island, in the failed attempt to assassinate Big Mom. Nothing about his official job description points to him becoming anyone's bodyguard, and the registry credits him with no devil fruit and no other named clash beyond this single shot — his standing rests on marksmanship alone, not on rank.

Yet on the wedding day, it is Vito who shoots down Bobbin, a Bishop of the Big Mom Pirates chasing a fleeing Sanji, without warning. The move comes from no order of Bege's: Vito simply calls himself an admirer of Germa 66, the scientific kingdom whose blood runs through Sanji, and decides that bond is reason enough to step in unasked. A man falls for a reason that never really concerned him.

95,000,000 berries for an advisor who commands nothing on the ground: the amount here calibrates usefulness — precision, discretion, ambush — rather than command rank. He stays active after the plot collapses, once Bege's entire fleet becomes a priority target for the whole Charlotte family, with no individual follow-up, and no confirmed fate, ever reported for him since that episode.
