Yasopp’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Shanks did not stumble across Yasopp. Twenty-two years ago, two years after Roger's execution, he came ashore on Gecko Island asking for one man by name, because that marksman's reputation had already travelled ahead of him. Yasopp said no. It took the birth of a son, and a wife telling him to go chase his dream, before he ever boarded.

That is the strange shape of the career: the fame came first, the piracy afterwards. He bragged to a seven-year-old Luffy that he could shoot the antennae off an ant a hundred feet away without harming the ant, and Luffy says he never once saw the man miss. The databooks call him a marksman without equal, his epithet is Chaser, and his Observation Haki is sharp enough to tell from across open water that the Kid Pirates have fully healed from Wano.

His bounty has never been printed where readers can see it. Oda has not shown it, which is a fact about the manga and not about the world. In the world, Commodore Brannew stands in a Marine briefing room, calls the Red Hair Pirates the most balanced and impregnable of the four Emperor crews, names Beckman, Lucky Roux and Yasopp among its officers, and notes that their average bounty runs high. Somebody in that room has read the number.

His son's poster says 500,000,000, earned against real opponents: Perona alone at Thriller Bark, Sugar twice at Dressrosa, whose collapse handed a whole country back its human shape. The father works a musket loaded with explosive rounds. At Gartel Island one shot took the Barto Club's ship apart, over a burnt flag his captain had already forgiven.
