Bounty of Shachi – credible but non-canon

Shachi's first meeting with Trafalgar Law was a beating. On Swallow Island in the North Blue, he and Penguin were a pair of local punks who picked fights; the day they ganged up on a polar bear mink named Bepo, Law happened by and knocked them both flat with his Devil Fruit. That is Oda's version, given in an SBS that also puts Shachi at twenty-five by Sabaody.

The non-canon spin-off One Piece novel Law picks it up from there. Orphaned by a tsunami and exploited by his aunt and uncle along with Penguin, Shachi is gored by a boar in the woods; Law and Bepo carry both boys to Wolf, an old inventor who gives them his own blood. Once he recovers, Shachi is the one who admits he sees no point in living, and Law, hearing himself in that, asks him to stay. Three years later Wolf hands the group the yellow submarine that becomes the Polar Tang.

From the North Blue the crew follows one of the Log Pose routes across the Grand Line to Sabaody, where Shachi stays standing under Silvers Rayleigh's Conqueror's Haki, though he admits he nearly blacked out. In Wano, captured with Bepo and Penguin as bait, he is the one Basil Hawkins uses to demonstrate his power: any blow landed on Hawkins would land on the prisoner instead. Law says he will strike anyway, and Hawkins ends up trading all three for their captain's surrender. On Winner Island, a jet of water spat by Shachi sets off Doc Q's trick apples in midair.

Does he carry a bounty of his own? The story hasn't said either way. Nothing rules it out: in a major crew the Marines price more than the captain, and on Law's ship even Bepo got one. If a poster bears his name, readers haven't seen it yet.
