Trafalgar D Water Law’s Bounty at 80,000,000 Berries

The first bounty on Trafalgar Law names a child of Flevance. A century earlier the World Government and the country's royal family had both worked out that the Amber Lead giving the place its white glow was poisoning everyone there, and said nothing, because the ore was making money. When the sickness could no longer be hidden, the royals were evacuated with government help, the neighbouring nations quarantined Flevance as contagious, and then destroyed what was left of it. Law is the only known survivor: he got across the border hidden in a pile of corpses.

The years after that gave the Marines nothing to work with. He crossed the North Blue looking for someone who could make his dying useful, spent three years inside the Donquixote Family under Rosinante's protection, and disappeared at thirteen, on the day Doflamingo shot his own brother. On Swallow Island he picked up Bepo, Shachi and Penguin, and the four of them put to sea.

Those four are the entire crew at the time of this figure, and the figure itself is an oddity: it appears in neither the manga nor the anime, only in the spin-off novel Law: The Hour of Kikoku, whose opening chapter has the Heart Pirates fighting off an ambush by the Kalik Pirates aboard the Polar Tang. Law loses his sword Kosho in that fight. Kikoku, the blade he is never seen without now, is still on a mountainside he has not reached.

Then there is the name. The world knows him as Trafalgar Law and nothing further. The D. and the Water are a secret his own family has kept for generations; he said them aloud exactly once as a boy, in front of Baby 5 and Buffalo, and Rosinante pulled him aside to explain what that initial costs the people who carry it. Sengoku would learn it thirteen years later at Dressrosa, and it visibly shook him.
