Bounty of Baby 5 – credible but non-canon

A mother in Kuen Village left her daughter in the mountains and called her useless on the way out. Baby 5 came away with a need to be useful that never let go: she cannot turn down a request, even one made half as a joke, to the point of putting her own life on the line. Even the name is not hers. Baby 5 is the codename she received on joining the Donquixote Family, and her real one she has shared only with Law and Buffalo. The Buki Buki no Mi turns her body into an arsenal of blades and guns.

Sixteen years before Dressrosa, at Spider Miles, she is eight when a ten-year-old named Trafalgar Law comes to sign up; he will stay a member for three years. The crew loots, cuts deals and collects bounties, which is how the two children end up going after Wellington, a pirate worth ten million. He overpowers them easily and has his knife at Law's head when the officers arrive to pull them out.

As an adult she commands two thousand of the crew's lower ranks, in the Pica Army. Gladius, an officer of the same army, is worth thirty-one million; for her the work settles nothing, showing no figure and no sign that there is none.

Her reflex is costly to the people around her. Doflamingo killed all eight of her fiancés and razed their towns, and impulse buying left her ninety-eight million in debt. At Dressrosa she takes Sai's retorts for flirting; he mockingly tells her to die, she happily gets ready to, and he has to stop her. When Sai then promises to marry her if he beats Lao G, it is once again the feeling of being needed that turns her coat. Pica tries to crush her as a traitor, Sai takes the blow instead, and he marries her later, back home in the Kano Country.
