    CONFIDENTIAL

Daruma is a cookie-cutter shark Fish-Man who can tunnel through solid coral rock using nothing but his own jaws. At Gyoncorde Plaza, he turned the ground itself into a pitfall trap before the fight even began — confident no surface fighter could out-maneuver a threat they never saw coming — an engineer's talent for war that never earned him a bounty, since Hody Jones's revolt against Ryugu Kingdom was closed by local justice before any Marine file had time to exist.

His opponent is Usopp, the sniper the enemy crew was widely assumed to treat as its weakest link. Daruma falls into his own minefield: three shots of Pop Greens, the fast-growing seeds Usopp had only just mastered during the timeskip, the third of which, Impact Wolf, puts him down before he can spring a single trap on his target — a defeat made worse by coming from the one man nobody on his side had taken seriously.

Like the rest of Hody's crew, Daruma pays for the Energy Steroids with instant aging the moment the royal guards close in and arrest him, no trial needed before the sentence lands: the agile tunneler who could vanish underground in a heartbeat becomes an old man Ryugu locks away without further ceremony. The tunnel-digging engineer of Gyoncorde Plaza never once answered to the World Government for anything he did. He answered only to his own king.
