Loki’s Bounty at 2,600,000,000 Berries

For six years, Elbaph agreed on one thing about its younger prince: Loki had murdered King Harald for his own gain. Loki never contradicted a soul. The truth only surfaced in the present day — Harald, ensnared by the World Government and about to hand his own people over as a slave army, begged his son to strike him down. A prophecy made at Loki's birth had already named him his father's killer, which is where the Accursed Prince epithet comes from, decades before there was any murder to pin on him.

The killing blow came from Ragnir loaded with Conqueror's Haki, the only known instance of the immortality Imu grants being broken by an outside hand. Minutes earlier, in the treasure room, Loki had eaten the fruit his father ordered fed to him: the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model Nidhöggr, Elbaph's own national treasure. Transformed, he becomes the largest dragon in the world.

Nearly everything else on file is secondhand. Eight years at sea sinking Marine and government ships with the tactics Harald once used against pirates. Then a capture by Shanks six years ago, of which the manga has never drawn a single panel and for which Shanks has never given a reason. Sentenced to crucifixion on his return, Loki owes his life to old Jarul pleading for clemency: six years in seastone chains on the Adam tree.

That leaves the number and the word set beside it. The World Government issued this bounty and labelled it special, and nothing in the story has yet explained what the label covers. What can be measured is the distance: 800,000,000 berries clear of Dorry or Brogy, the next giants down the list. Loki has since refused both hands held out to him — the Knights of God, whose Celestial Dragon masters he calls garbage, and the place Luffy offered him aboard his crew.
