Aladine’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

Aladine is not a fish-man but a merman, a bearded brotula: in this world merfolk and fish-men are two distinct races. A former soldier of the Ryugu Kingdom who was captured and sold into slavery, he was freed by Fisher Tiger and has served the Sun Pirates since their earliest days, first as ship's doctor.

That is how he came to watch his captain die. Back from Foolshout riddled with bullets, Tiger was offered a transfusion by Aladine, drawn from the human blood supply found on the Marine ship the crew had seized while escaping, with the reminder that both species share the same blood. Tiger refused and died. When Arlong later broke away, Aladine stayed with Jinbe and became his second. The crew was pardoned for as long as Jinbe sat among the Seven Warlords, and lost that protection when he resigned at Marineford.

His life then turned towards Totto Land. He married Charlotte Praline, one of Big Mom's daughters, a union that sealed the Sun Pirates' alliance with the Emperor and made him Charlotte Linlin's son-in-law. The alliance broke on Whole Cake Island: once Jinbe chose the Straw Hats, Aladine led the crew in his absence, covered the Sunny's escape off Cacao Island and met Charlotte Oven with fish-man karate to hold back his mother-in-law's fleet until Big Mom arrived in person.

The amount of his bounty has never been shown to the audience. The only numbers the crew offers belong to its captains: Tiger at 230 million, Jinbe at 76 million in the same era before he climbed higher. For the second-in-command of a crew that stood up to an Emperor's fleet, the order of magnitude remains guesswork.
