Avalo Pizarro’s Bounty at an unknown amount of Berries

The crown came off from the inside. Avalo Pizarro ruled a North Blue kingdom until his own subjects removed him for bending royal privilege to his personal appetites, and what he did afterwards is what put him among the most feared criminals in the world: hunted by the World Government, caught, and sentenced to life in Impel Down's Level 6, the floor reserved for deeds the institution refuses to make public. His bounty belongs to that career, not to the flag he flies now.

One detail says everything about him. He is the only one of Blackbeard's Level 6 recruits never seen in the prison's striped uniform: he waited out his sentence in a fur coat and necklaces, as though the abdication had never happened. When Teach had the inmates fight to the death in their cells and freed only the survivors, Pizarro walked out of his. He would later half-joke that Teach should hand him the captaincy, and eventually got a command for real — the fleet's fourth ship, with the title of Titanic Captain.

The Shima Shima no Mi came long after that recruitment, in a crew that hunts Devil Fruits to arm its officers with them. It lets him merge with an island, and the island he picked is Hachinosu itself. He is the skull-shaped rock above the harbor; he feels anything moving on the ground the way a body feels a touch, and he can push his face out through any surface he chooses. When Garp cracked that skull open, and when Koby shattered a stone hand raised over their departing ship, Pizarro is the one who took both blows. A king can lose a crown; this one became the ground his crew walks on. The amount has yet to surface.
