Crocus’s WANTED poster with an unknown reward of berries.

Crocus treated the only man Grand Line ever let return alive from Laugh Tale, and no bounty has ever been able to say so. As the Roger Pirates' ship doctor, he found a way to hold back, just long enough for one last voyage, the illness that would kill Gol D. Roger — a medical reprieve that made the end of the line reachable at all. The Government knows a man once bought the Pirate King extra time. No figure has ever measured that knowledge.
Crocus didn't disappear after Roger died. He settled at the Twin Cape lighthouse, at the mouth of Reverse Mountain, and became the keeper of a whale calf abandoned by its own crew, Laboon, raising him for fifty years while waiting for a reunion that would never arrive the way anyone expected. He's also the one who handed the Straw Hats their first Log Pose, opening their route into the Grand Line — a small act repeated for crew after crew, entered on no Government ledger anywhere.
The amount reserved for him stays blank, and the only document that even confirms it exists is a visual dictionary, not a wanted poster. The reader never gets the number the Government surely holds somewhere — Crocus lives out in the open, a short rowboat ride from the busiest sea route in the world, hiding from no one. An empty file has never once stopped anyone from knowing exactly where to find him.
