Douglas Bullet’s Bounty at 100,000,000 Berries

Douglas Bullet challenged Gol D. Roger at fifteen, lost, then joined his crew to keep challenging him from the inside — or so the film bearing his name, One Piece: Stampede, tells it, the only source where this past exists at all.

A former child soldier from the kingdom of Galzburg, wielder of the Gasha Gasha no Mi — a power able to take apart and reassemble any structure, whole islands included — he is said to have left Roger's crew two years before the illness that killed him, before spending over twenty years locked up in Impel Down. His release lines up with the mass breakout Luffy and Marshall D. Teach set off, at least anchoring him in time within the manga's own chronology, even if nothing else ties him to that episode directly. He later stages the Pirate Fest, a trap laid for the world's most powerful pirates so he can eliminate them and claim the title of Pirate King alone, until Luffy pins him down with the Gomu Gomu no King Kong Gatling.

Oda oversaw the film — one detail he slipped in, the name Laugh Tale, would be confirmed in the manga years later — but he has said himself that most of these films stay conceived outside the main story, non-canon by default. What happens to Bullet after his defeat is never shown, in the film or anywhere else.

Over 100,000,000 berries for a man whose entire existence rests on a piece of film the manga has neither confirmed nor denied — a case with no equal anywhere else in this registry.
