Kizaru's right arm hits the ground at Sabaody, cut off by a cymbal note. A second later a bass-drum beat struck on Apoo's own chest cuts the admiral in half at the waist. Not one of the other Supernovas on that street managed to touch Borsalino at all. Apoo took him apart twice inside ten seconds.

And none of it mattered, which is the whole point of this entry. A Logia does not bleed. Kizaru reassembled himself, caught Apoo mid-retreat, and put him down with a single light-speed kick. What this amount is paying for is a man whose weapon reaches everything and settles nothing. His entire body is an orchestra, every part of it producing a sound that cuts, stuns or paralyses, and the series has never once shown him finishing a serious opponent.

The detail that ages best sits elsewhere. He exposed himself to an admiral that day in order to save someone. Kizaru was about to kill Basil Hawkins, blinded and on the ground, and Apoo stepped in with nothing to gain from it.

Earlier the same day he had picked a fight with Eustass Kid in a restaurant and then suggested they postpone it until the New World. Put those two gestures side by side and you have his complete method, fully formed, before he had even left the archipelago. The number is the last one issued while anybody still read him as a rival rather than as a channel.
