Scratchmen Apoo’s Bounty at 350 million Berries

The raise is already banked by the time the story finds Apoo again. The 350 million show up at his first post-timeskip appearance, in Eustass Kid's hideout, which he has just torn apart on the theory that a sniper might be hiding in it. What the figure covers is the two years nobody sees: the crossing into the New World, a bad detour through Big Mom's territory, and above all an allegiance he kept quiet, since he was already working for the Beasts Pirates.

His job under Kaido is not fighting, it is scouting. He marks the pirates worth absorbing, then manoeuvres them into a position where submitting is the only way out. The alliance he signs with Kid and Basil Hawkins to bring down Shanks never existed on his side: it exists to walk them into Kaido. Hawkins ended up a Shinuchi under the Emperor he had signed on to attack, Kid in the prison at Udon. When Kid confronts him at Onigashima, his answer is that pirate alliances never end any other way.

He crosses the raid without ever committing to it. He injures Luffy and then Zoro in quick succession by exploiting the fact that neither yet knows how to guard against sound; Queen forces the only vial of Ice Oni antibodies into his hands with the whole island after him; Zoro takes it off him; he offers X Drake and then Yamato an alliance to eliminate whoever wins the raid; and he drops Drake the moment the CP0 agents take the upper hand.

He did not vanish afterwards. He is the one who got the story of the raid out of a closed country, and a week later he was at Tokage Port, throwing the crews repairing their ships the newspaper that announced the new bounties and the new Emperors. The figure itself has not moved: what he sells was never his strength.
