Basil Hawkins’s Bounty at 320 million Berries

This figure belongs to the stretch when Hawkins was still his own master, and no later figure has been shown for him since. It surfaces as he arrives at Eustass Kid's hideout, invited, to put together an alliance with the Kid Pirates and the On Air Pirates. The Emperor the three captains had picked out was Shanks.

Nothing that came afterwards is part of it, then. One day a crater in the shape of a man opened up near their base: Kaidou had dropped out of the sky. Hawkins ran his odds, saw neither victory nor escape, and surrendered on the spot. A Worst Generation captain became a Shinuchi in the Beasts Pirates, hunting samurai for Kurozumi Orochi, holding the Flower Capital, taking part in the crackdown on the rebellion and in Yasuie's execution. Wano was sealed off from the World Government, and no known figure pays for any of that work.

His method followed him to the end. At Onigashima he had already tied one of his dolls to Eustass Kid's life, so that Killer could no longer touch him without killing his own captain. He enjoyed watching him unable to strike back, refused when Killer begged him to move the link over to his own life, kicked him in the face, and advised him to join Kaidou, since the Emperors were unbeatable anyway.

Killer found the flaw. He cut off the left arm, the one Kid had already lost during the timeskip, so the damage had nowhere to travel, and the last doll came out of the wound. Later, covered in wounds, Hawkins sought out Drake, slumped against a column and told him that the man he had given a one percent chance of seeing tomorrow was himself, before collapsing.
