Killer’s WANTED poster with a reward of 162 million Berries.

This crew has two heads, and this number is the second one. On Kutsukku Island in the South Blue, four gangs held the island's four towns: Killer's, Eustass Kid's, Heat's, and Wire's. When Victoria, the girl both boys had fallen for as children, was murdered by a rival gang, Kid welded the four groups into one, wiped out the rivals, and took to sea on a ship named the Victoria Punk after her, with himself as captain and Killer as his right hand.
Of those four gang bosses, only two ended up carrying a price. Heat and Wire were never priced at all. Killer was priced at the same time as his captain and for the same reason: the wreckage the crew left behind it, and the civilian dead it caused over trivial provocations. So this figure buys his share of a joint body count rather than any feat that belongs to him alone.
He is often described as the level head aboard, and from the inside that holds. He reminds Kid where they are going, advises courtesy before a meeting of captains, and has talked more than one insult back down. It does not make him a moderate. As a child he beat up anyone who mocked his laugh, then stopped laughing altogether and put a helmet over his head to be left alone, and he is still willing to kill over it. At the Sabaody Archipelago he is shown trading blows with Urouge, a man twice his size, with apparent ease and for reasons the story never gives, until X Drake steps between them and tells them to save it for the New World.
It is also the last poster on which Killer is still only Killer. The two years that follow take his name, his place at Kid's shoulder, and even the option of not laughing.
