CONFIDENTIAL

Thin frame, narrow face, a long pointed chin, wavy hair down to his chest, a pink curled mustache and goatee, a stitched scar running from his left eye to his cheekbone: Peachbeard looks more like an aging dandy washed up on the wrong sea than a war captain. He does not sail with any organized Blackbeard crew — he simply borrows the flag, a claim no source ever officially confirms.

That self-declared allegiance does not stop him from picking his target with precise political timing: during the Reverie, when the royal forces of the Lulusia Kingdom all leave to attend the summit, he raids its now-undefended port. The calculation backfires. Four Revolutionary Army commanders — Belo Betty, Morley, Lindbergh, and Karasu — intercept the raid and rout it. Captured, Peachbeard threatens retaliation from Blackbeard to protect himself; Belo Betty flatly tells him the Emperor could not care less what happens to people who raid under his name without ever having met him. The threat lands on fighters who never took it seriously in the first place.

Fifty-two million berries for a man abandoned even by the name he chose to fly. Left to the people of Lulusia to be turned in for the reward, his file closes on a simple lesson: a borrowed flag protects no one, least of all against people who know exactly whose it never really was.
