Rakuyo’s WANTED poster with an unknown reward of berries.

Rakuyo commanded Whitebeard's 7th Division back when the crew still counted sixteen commanders and an empire standing behind them. A South Blue veteran, he fought with a dog-headed kanabo, a spiked club worn like a flail, rather than a Devil Fruit — the crew's own records credit him with none, a rarity at his level of command.
At Marineford, he fought Admiral Kizaru one-on-one and walked away without a visible wound, a claim almost no one else who crossed an admiral that day can make. He's also one of the few commanders confirmed present in Wano thirty years earlier, sharing sake with Kozuki Oden himself — close enough to the crew that he grieved Whitebeard and Ace from the front line rather than as a bystander once the war was over.
After Marineford came the Payback War: what remained of the crew, Rakuyo included, moved to take back what Blackbeard's Pirates had just stolen from an empire already missing its captain and its most famous son, and lost. What followed has never been shown. No announced capture, no confirmed death, no documented retreat — the crew simply drops out of the story instead of exiting through a scene.
That blank space says nothing about his strength. What it says is that a veteran able to hold an admiral without a scratch still walked out of the story on an unresolved defeat, with no page ever confirming what came next.
