Bentham’s WANTED poster with a reward of 32 million Berries.

The Mane Mane no Mi copies an entire face — features, voice, build — with a single touch. Bentham, Baroque Works' number two under the alias Mr. 2 Bon Clay, turned that gift into a weapon of disguise before turning it against his own organization: at Alabasta he fights the Straw Hats wearing several stolen identities, then switches sides once the organization is exposed, siding with Luffy for good.
The heaviest entry in his file happens at Impel Down. To force open a path through the world's most guarded prison, Bentham duels Magellan himself and appears to die in the attempt, a sacrifice that lets Luffy and his escaped allies keep moving toward Ace. The dataset lists his bounty as CLOSED: nothing in the story ever shows the World Government formally cancelling that wanted poster — the status reflects a presumed death, not an administrative decision the reader is ever shown.
The story later overturns that grim reading. A side chapter published years afterward reveals him very much alive, now the ruling figure of Newkama Land, the secret five-and-a-half floor of Impel Down reserved for escaped inmates in drag. Thirty-two million berries is the price tag on a man whose own identity was never fixed to begin with — someone who spent most of his career wearing other people's faces eventually ended up ruling under his own, in a place the Navy does not even fully control.
