Sentomaru’s Bounty at 500,000,000 Berries

A headsman's double-bladed axe, Armament Haki he can project without contact, and exactly one mission on file: protect Dr. Vegapunk. Sentomaru holds the rank of captain in the Marine's Scientific Unit — a real title more modest than the vice admiral rank people often assume he carries — and he has no Devil Fruit at all, raised after being driven out of his home village as a child.

It is at Sabaody, two years after Marineford, that his file gets its sharpest entry: he knocks out Demalo Black with the flat of his axe, the pirate who had spent the timeskip impersonating Luffy at the head of a fake Straw Hat crew. Twenty years later, at Egghead, that loyalty finally breaks: Sentomaru sides with the scientist he protects against the very Government that raised him.

Cross Guild rates him at five stars — five hundred million berries by its own scale, the same figure as sitting vice admirals, for a man whose actual rank sits lower but whose job, guarding the single source of every technological edge the Marine has, apparently outweighs a stripe on a uniform.
